We made it safely to London, and with little jet lag (though we did crash into bed around 9pm). We made use of the first day for general wandering, ooh-ing and aah-ing over old buildings - there are so many of the damn things - and getting an idea of the layout. I became That Tourist taking photos of everything I saw.
Now we're off to get our London Pass and see even more things! THINGS!

Stop-off in Abu Dhabi
Well, we made it through the majority of the trip without any issues! We're killing time in the airport using the free wi-fi, and enjoying the good conversion rate for food stuffs. Tom slept pretty well on the flight; unfortunately I did not and am feeling a bit worse for wear after 1-2 hours sleep total.
In about an hour we start boarding up to head on to Heathrow, and the real fun begins!
